On Crush

The Sound of You

I hear of you, of delightful names
Rough man with an intellectual mind.
I long for you, of that genuine smile;
Gentleman with a tough twist aside.

On Love

Simplicity

Love me, dearly
Hands entwine,
Glow ignites.
Love me, ardently
With passion of fire,
With intimacy of enraptured rhymes.
But above all
Love me
Like love itself.
No complications,
No garrulity;
Enthral me with your joyous smile
And captivate me with soft kiss on my forehead.
And then,
Tell me, in my sleep
How simple is love.

If I can classify
Someone as odd
Indefinitely I would
Pick you.
If I can identify
Someone as ordinary pure
Like sun rising in the East
Like water in Côte d’Azur
Indefinitely I would
Say you.
And if I can choose
All over again,
A hundredth, a thousand-and-first,
Indefinitely I would
