I agree! Kindness needs a lot of willpower when people do not treat you the same way you treat them. At first I was about to put 'position' too because most of my experiences where it's shady is at work, but there's a proverb in my language that can be translated loosely into "money is power" -- and I do think a lot of people with money treats others with less money with little kindness; that's why I put 'power' as it can encapsulates both positional power and material power.
